As a family of runners we are always on the look out for fitness product to help with recovery, injury prevention or just tired legs.

Massage is highly recommended in sport for the healing process, and promote relaxation and well-being...

Bliss!

4 x AA batteries.

What I thought of the HoMedics Slim Around Massager:

I really like this product after coming home from a run yesterday my knee had a pins and needles feeling towards the end.I wrapped this around and it felt great. Being covered with a black velvet material it felt smooth on the skin warm and relaxing. I really like how the product wraps around you,e.g arms, leg, knee, waist or you can wrap it anywhere you have a niggle.

The SlimAround is very flexible and moulds into place wherever you want it. I think this is a very versatile piece of sports equipment to own with a soothing vibration is great for injury's and at ~

£19-99 it's a really good price.

Price and where to buy:
  • Priced around £19-99 from
  • Amazon or Boots
The HoMedics Rechargable sports Massager:

Is a multi-purpose oscillating vibration massager that penetrates deep into muscles, enhancing circulation. This mini adjustable belt is perfect for relieving sore and aching muscles after a run or workout. It is hugely versatile, and can be fitted around the waist, arms, back, legs and neck. There are two power programs, and it can be used for up to 45 minutes at a time.

What I thought of the HoMedics Rechargable sports massager:

This is a powerful sports massager, with this you really get a sense that it is working deep into the muscles. The belt adjusts so you can energise tired muscles on :arms legs, neck, back as well as your stomach. I love the fact that it is rechargeable so you don't have to keep replacing batteries.T his feels really good after a hard workout to help repair and relax muscles. This will be a big part of my cool down after my runs and a good way to relax my muscles after a workout.

Price and where to buy:
  • Priced at around £39-99 and you can buy from
  • HoMedics or Amazon
The HoMedics iHeal:

If an athlete is suffering from a slight niggle, then HoMedic iHeal is a perfect aid.

Using pulsed electro-magnetic field therapy to promote healing and ease pain, iHeal can treat soft tissue conditions from tendonitis to RSI, but it’s great for sports injuries and muscle strain.

With an adjustable strap and hypo allergenic sticky patches for easy application, it’s operated by battery for up to 200 hours treatment. It is clinically proven to give up to 30% faster healing time! Small but perfectly formed – it will have you back on the track in no time.

What I thought of the HoMedics iHeal:

This looks a neat little product that speeds recovery for quicker pain relief from soft tissue injuries. It sends painless magnetic energy wave deep into body tissue and bones using low power electromagnetic fields, which induces weak electrical signals inside the body's natural signals.

iHeal can be used to treat:
  • Tendonitis
  • Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
  • Painful and Arthritic Joints
  • Sport injuries
  • Swelling and bruises
  • Tennis and golf elbow
  • Reduces walking Distance due to poor circulation
  • Leg Cramp
  • Aching Muscles
  • Back and Neck Pain caused by inflammation around the joints
  • Cold Hands and Feet
  • Restless Leg Syndrome
This sounds a good product however I have none of the symptoms at the minute to really test its effectivenss.

I do get Carpel Tunnel from time to time so I will be reaching for this straight away.It has a adjustable strap to place over your arm and thinking back I remember my Grandma wearing something like this to help with her circulation and her saying how good it was.

Price and where to buy:
  • Priced at around £49-99 from
  • HooMedics or Amazon
