food You Can't Say No To-Book Review

Last week after a hard mornings training at the gym, a parcel with this lovely book inside "food You Can't Say No To" was waiting for me.

I had forgotten that I requested a copy of the book to review so when I opened the packet I was surprised to see food I was starving and just wished it was ready made.

I just stared with amazement at the cover for a few seconds .

Then after looking and wishing that I could just take a piece of this mouthwatering treat full of summer fruits and bursting with colour and yummy-ness was flick to find the index pages so I could find out what this amazing recipe was.

Here it is page 144 Summer Berry Genoise...

All of the recipes look really tasty and good quality ingredients but for me it's the sweet treats that makes this book perfect. The sweet recipes look just so mouthwatering almost too good to eat!! Ideal for sharing with family and friends or perfect special occasion's.They are well presented making me already want to plan dinner partys and inviting people over so I can share all this wonderful food with. There is a feel of summer in this book making me long for light nights and summer fruits to be widely available.

About food You Can't Say No To from the publisher:

This irresistible book is packed with recipes for food you can't say not to.When we are presented with such indulgent food,we inevitable succumb, ask for a second helping.

Here is a book filled with good thing's ,some of which you will find familiar but with an original twist, others are entirely new and exciting,Some are special purely because of their unabashed simplicity, using a few of the very best ingredients and disarmingly easy to perfect.Tamasin's philosophy is all about making the most of food, especially ingredients in season, rather than spending extravagantly.

If you're in need of inspiring new supper try the Roquefort, celery, potato, red onion and walnut pie; or a comforting Salmon and scallop chowder, smoky with bacon and flecked with tarragon; or uplifting potato gnocchi with spring asparagus, tomatoes, green olives and mascarpone. Resist,if you can a light whisked sponge topped with vanilla and lemon scented mascarpone and yogurt. This is the food you will enjoy cooking: effortless but special, indulgent yet practical, totally, utterly irresistible.
