Parkrun Parkfun Day..



No shiny new Parkrun PB for me yesterday. Not only was it cold and very windy I got my worst 5KM race time in years. A personal best was not out the question in the wind for some though. My son got one! He did amazing...


At the minute I am splitting my spare time between running and exercise classes at the gym. Not really spending enough time running to improve. This will all change from the 1st of April. I have cancelled my gym membership and will have more free time to go running.

I also eat to much. I run for food. I love food, especially have a sweet tooth. After this mornings weigh in I have put weight on in a month and addred 2% body fat so something has to be done! This is where My Fitness Pal app on my phone is now going to come in handy...


  • Time 27.33 for 5k.
  • I was 52nd out of 133 runners.
  • 7th female for my age group.
  • Slowest Parkrun time.
  • 55.84% in my age group



Parkrun goals:

  • To beat my best time 24.34 {seams way off at the minute}
  • Long term goals: 22 minutes.
