When The Sun Comes Up, You'd better Be Running...



Ouch, Ouch Ouch!!


If you read my post yesterday, you will know why I am hurting so much!!

This running malarkey can be a dangerous sport, thinking of going out running with padded cycle shorts on and knee pads!?!

After 2 day of running well and falling even better, I had a nice easy morning at the gym today. 1 miles swim a sauna and spa day was much needed. I love swimming and have not been for a while. It sure makes you hungry. Breakfast before and after was called for.


According to My Fitness Pal my breakfast of 2 slices of wholemeal toast, Olive spread, honey, cappuccino porridge and golden syrup took up a whooping 636 of my 1200 daily calories allowance {to lose weight} today. It was a good job my mile swim wore around 416 of them off.


Since Christmas I have put a few pounds of weight on and now I am on a mission to lose a stone before summer. The weight is not really a problem, its my body fat. 25% is quite high for a runner so I will have to cut down on the buttery toast, cakes and biscuits. It is going to be hard work as I love my food {take my breakfast for instance!}. When I get a sweet tooth I am going to try my best to eat some fruit!!

This afternoon I ran with my 11 year old son. He is doing brilliant with his running. He has ran everyday this year and now seeing an improvement...

Just 2 miles for me today. My leg was dragging behind because of my fall yesterday!!

I am so pleased to be back on the Nike+ website from today!! It has been 4 years since I updated a run on their website as my nike watch broken and you could only use their watch to upload. From today I can upload my training from my TomTom and Garmin sports watch.

Can't wait to run tomorrow as I had already uploaded today run..
