33 Ideas For Our Summer Bucket List..

3 more days left at school for my youngest 2 children. Then it is time to chill, relax and have some summer fun! We are now writing our summer bucket list so we can look back each week and see what we have and have not done yet! Here is our bucket list:

1.) Go To The Beach : It has been a full year since we have been to the beach. We can not wait to go. Paddling in the sea, looking for seashells and fun seeing who can make the biggest sandcastles!

2.) Take Lots Of Train Rides: Lots of days out on the train to here, there and everywhere.

3.) Have A BBQ: We love to eat outside but our outdoor table has broken, so we need to get a new one, clean up the BBQ and start eating outside again.

4.) Visit Bakewell in Derbyshire: We all love Bakewell. Lots of cool walks and a great day out when the Bakewell show is on, vintage fair or the dog shows are on the showground. Also yummy chips and Bakewell tarts!!

5.) Rounders: We love to just go to the park and set up a small game of rounders. There is usually just us 3 so we bowl our on balls and have 2 fielders. It works great.

6.) Early Morning Runs: Me and my youngest son have decided to get up early and run 3 miles. Before the sun comes out. Not sure how long this plan will last for!?!

7.) Visit Matlock in Derbyshire: We love a visit to Matlock. Fun hill to run up, beautiful things to see like the above waterfalls, slot machines and ice creams are our favourite things here.

8.) Play Tennis: The tennis courts are busy at the minute with Wimbledon being on. So we will be getting up early to get a court.

9.) Visit Clumber Park In Nottingham: A place I fancy visiting this year. Not been for over 20 years so it would be good to go and pay a visit.

10.) Victoria Embankment, Nottingham: There is always something fun happening at the Embankment. A half marathon here, bike ride there. When there is no events on it is nice to chill out around the parks, look at the river and take lots of photos of the beautiful flowers here.

11.) Sherwood Forest, Nottingham: Not to far away so why do we never visit!?! The land of Robin Hood on our doorstep, how cool?

12.) The Gym : Not just one for me. I wonder if I get to use my membership this year!?! I was a member of a gym last year and never used it in the summer holidays once. Must try harder this year! Also a cool outside gym free for the children to use at a few parks.

13.) Visit Lincoln in Lincolnshire: Always a fun day in Lincoln. I love the one off vintage shops, town center and looking around Lincoln Cathedral.

14.) Basket Ball: We love basket ball. Last holidays we brought everyone a basket ball. So up early to get the free courts at the local park, before the other children come to play footballers at the same nets.

15.) Lots Of Walking Mollie To The Parks: This one of our bucket list will happen most days. Goes with having a puppy.

16.) Visit Blackpool Lancashire: We love to have a few nights in Blackpool every year. Walking down the golden mile on the beach is perfect on a nice hot day. Pizza on the beach, yum! We love to see the Tower at night when they are trying out the lights for September.

17.) Stopping At Grandma And Granddads Caravan: Few days away at the coast. Sounds perfect.

18.) Days Out At Skegness Lincolnshire: Love to see the sea, donkey on the beach and eat the yummy warm doughnuts on the sand.

19.) Newstead Abbey Nottinghamshire: A beautiful place to visit. Perfect to go on a bike ride trough too. Walk around the Abbey or take a stroll to the river. Perfect photo opp. Sometimes you get to see the peacocks.

20.) Shopping in Manchester:  A shopping trip to Manchester!?! Somewhere we keep saying every year we should go, but not made it here yet.

21.) A day trip to Bournemouth: I have heard you can get a train from Nottingham to London, London to Bournemouth and back in one day. Sounds intresting as we have never been here.

22.) London: Aww we always love London. So many things to see and do. We are always know we will clock up at least a 10 miles walk here too!

23.) Grandmas And Granddads : Fun 20 minute train ride, and 4 miles walk to go see Grandma and Granddad. Bike/run/ scooter or walk. Lovely on a sunny day.

24.) 5 parks in 5 hours : A fun challenge we set ourselves every year. Visit 5 parks by foot in 5 hours. The children love this challenge.

25.) Funfair: Just go find a fun fair, anywhere just find one.
26.) Go To The Woods To Have A Nerf Gun Battle: One more for my youngest 2. They love playing this game.
27.) Visit Leicester: Another place we have not been to yet but want to go to.

28.) Park Run: Now I've got back into running again. Time to lace the trainers up and start running faster. I'm sure it will be my slowest time but with 6 weeks surely I can improve!?!

29.) Visit Chesterfield, Derbyshire: Lovely shops, a great park{Queens Park}and lots of fun things to see and do.

30.) A walk around Ladybower Reservoir, Derbyshire: Climbing the peaks and such stunning views. Must remember to take a good packed lunch and lots of water this time as we walked for hours here.

31.) COSMO Restaurant Nottingham: Our favourite place to eat in Nottingham. All you can eat filled the the most tasty foods and treats from around the world. My sweet tooth loves it here!!

32.) Visit York: Somewhere we have not been for a few year.

33.) Day trip to Scarborough, North Yorkshire: Now this will be fun. Not been since my youngest son was 1, eek 11 years ago! Love it here.

Wow this list has made me tired just writing it..
