We have had a fun packed week as the kids and even hubby were off school and work for half term holidays. Double busy, even when the weather was not great. The best day of the week was Monday, we tried to make the most of it.
On Monday we went to visit Sherwood Forest in Edwinstowe, Nottinghamshire. The weather was amazing for the time of year and the sun was shining brightly. Not like the rest of the week, as mentioned, which was dull and rainy.
We wanted somewhere to go where we could spend a good few hours, which was also puppy friendly. Somewhere we could wear the puppy out and the children too. We knew this might be the best day of the week, so somewhere outdoors it was!!
Sherwood Forest was a perfect choice. The children loved running around, playing on the parks and in the woods. All the while taking in all the sights and sounds of mother nature. Mollie enjoyed sniffing around at all the new smells.
