What I Wore : 20th Wedding Anniversary...

Happy Thursday lovelies...

How is your week going?

It has been a mad busy week here, shopping for back to school things. Just my daughters school shoes and bag left to buy, then we are finished!

On Tuesday evening me and my husband went out for a meal to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary. It was a beautiful evening. The sun was shining brightly, we could not have timed it better for a nice walk out.  Just the two of us was so lovely. A rare date night out. I also got to wear my lovely new dress that I had been sent to review.

Change your mind about something?

Last week House Of Fraser got in touch with me to see if I wanted to review one of 3 pretty dresses. This was the only one in a size 10, so I choose this one.

To be honest, I was in two minds over this dress. It was not be the kind of dress I would have usually gone for; if I was picking it myself.

I ready do like long dresses. They are great for just chucking on when you are rushing around in a morning. I mostly like ones with lots of material in them, bright patterned facric and ones that hide my shape well. As a mum of 4 I like to cover my waistline up! Bright colours are another thing I would always choose over plain black clothes. So totally the opposite kind of dress I would pick then!?

When I opened my parcel up,my first thoughts was how pretty this dress is. The material has a nice soft feel to it and the monochrome pattern is very fashionable.

When I tried it on, it fit like a glove. It felt really nice as it is a figure hugging dress. It has such a lovely cut to it. Long in length with a nice split to the left had side and a cute little split in the top to add a touch of class to it.

As soon as I popped it on, I realised how much I loved it. It felt lovely and stylish. Comfortable and modern. Classic and chic all rolled into one.

I teamed my dress up with flat sandals to complete my date night outfit. I was walking to meet my husband in town after work so I needed to be comfy. This outfit is all about the dress so I think you can get away with flat sandals for going out.

Perfect length too!
