Occasionally all that training is put to good use and they get a chance to compete in X Country races. This past Saturday morning as an example. Cold, Frosty, but thankfully not much mud yet!!

It looked so nice and warm in the woods on Saturday too. So glad I was not racing in a vest and shorts!! Brr 😰 I hate to be cold.

What a week so far. Cold, frosty and oh so rainy!! Not to mention the darkness is arriving earlier and earlier each night.
The kids have to rush home from school and change into their running clothes straight away to catch the remaining sunlight.
Then off for a little run, by the time we are back the streetlights light the way.
