The Night Before Christmas: Aldi Throw And Cushion Review...

T'was a cold dark evening, on the night before Christmas. All was quiet in the Claire Justine household. A good job too as it was nearly midnight and Santa would soon be on his way! It had been a long day and still Mum and Dad had lots to do before Christmas morning...

A typical Christmas Eve for us would start with an early morning jog with the Kids and Mollie our Collie dog. (We aim to tire them out, it never works!!).

Cake and bun making then takes over the kitchen, not forgetting to do my speciality home made sausage rolls. Meanwhile the Children start watching Christmas films and constantly eating.

The Hubby goes in panic mode thinking what presents have we got?, has everyone had the same amount?.

He normally goes for a walk into Town to see if there is anything on offer. Or so he says, funny how all the shops give you free alcohol on Christmas Eve!!

Eventually its time for supper and a big feast is made. All four of our children go upstairs with their supper, watching yet more Christmas films. I then do all the pots, while Hubby prepares the room for Santa's arrival.

Stockings laid out, mince pie with a sherry for Santa and a Kevin the carrot for Rudolph.

Then at last a time to relax. 11.30pm.

We have a well earned sit down.

With a chance to chill, looking out of the window for Santa and some Snow. I always wrap myself in a nice big blanket, whilst having a lovely hot chocolate with a sneaky Irish Whiskey before bed.

The clock ticks over to 12.01am Christmas Day is here. Before we know it, Santa has been, it is time to spread that Christmas magic.
