The Greatest Road Trip In The World..

Happy Tuesday. With the weather being nice and warm over the last few days it has me dreaming of packing our suitcases and taking off on holiday.

Do you ever dream about just taking off on holiday too?

Just you?

You and a loved one?

You and your family?

Leaving all your worries behind you for a few weeks or months. I would love to explore new and exciting places? I like to put my feet up and imagine I am relaxing in a tropical paradise!!

Have you ever been on a great road trip? Or are you planning one? Let me know!

We always seem to plan a trip overseas however, we haven't taken the plunge since my Daughter was born 12 years ago..  Having 4 children it can be very expensive. With our 2 eldest now not wanting to travel with us, next year just might be possible? The first step we are planning is to renew the passports, then a good family chat to agree somewhere special.

So many places I want to visit. So many dreams to make into reality and real memories to be made.

I can just imagine it now...

Just packing our suitcases full of holiday clothes and driving to the airport. leaving our car at Purple Parking and catching the next plane out of town.

How amazing would that be?

Where in the world would I want to go?

There are plenty of places I would love to visit: Canada, Italy, Spain, China and Australia are just a few that spring to mind with possibly the USA being top of my list.

Where would I like to visit if I ever got to visit America might you ask? So many iconic places I would love to see.

For me, the greatest road trip would be in a big camper van going coast to coast USA. Starting in California ending up in New York or vice versa, I am not fussy!!

I Have So Many Iconic Places From My Favorite TV Shows And Movies I Want To Visit:

I have always wanted to see the Hollywood sign, recreate the moment Julia Roberts walks down Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills with someone else's credit card Shopping Shoes Yes, please!!

Stopping at Chicago along the way to see the start of Route 66 and watch the Chicago Bears.

I would love to finish my trip in New York. I have always wanted to see Central Park. I grew up watching endless Movies and TV shows that all seemed to be set in New York. So bringing those childhood memories to life would be extra special. Especially at Christmas time. Take a shopping trip down 5th Avenue. Again yes, please!!

Of course, stopping at some amazing restaurants along the way.

Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives style:

I would love to visit some of the amazing diners featured on top food programs like Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives and Man vs. Food. The food always looks amazing. I am not sure I could eat a whole portion of food, but I would give it a go. I have always wanted to try a corn dog at one of the State Fairs or go to one of those giant BBQs they seem to have all over.

Now over to you, what would be your greatest road trip in the world?

Let me know. Suggestions most welcome...
