Well, the snow lasted approximately 2 hours. If that! My children were so pleased to see it arrive and did not want to go to school. They wanted their school to be closed for the day. A snow day at home and deep snow would have been perfect.
You can imagine how sad my daughter was when she arrived home from school and the snow had gone! I bet she had been looking out the window all day hoping the snow would settle.
"But mummy I had planned to make a snowman" ⛄
Aw well, maybe will get some more next time!! If it ever snows again this year?
In other news...
You're never too old to make a mess! A big chocolatey mess, that is. Here are some hot chocolate photo's from when my mum made us some drinks on our visit them see them on Saturday. They had been saving these sweet drinks from a raffle they won at Christmas to share with us, how nice!! Very sweet, though.
As you can imagine, we all love hot chocolate. Especially on cold days after a long walk or run.
Plenty of drinks to go around. We made 4 hot chocolate mugs up. There were chocolate drops in but they soon disappeared and melted into the hot chocolate. Powder everywhere but not a sign of a dropped marshmallows anywhere

I wanted to make a gif and I think the pressure got to her, Ha!! 😁
No one remembers a perfect kitchen, though, do they? A chocolate mess is good.
